Early Stuff

Checking through my files and books, collected over the years, I came across these little gems . . . a photo of possibly the 1st or 2nd Entry outside the Old Workshops, back around 1921.    Anybody still around that recognises themselves ?

Or the second one ?    It was probably taken in the 30's, judging by the uniforms and model planes hanging up, and appears to be a class in one of the aerodynamic labs at Schools . . . note the old windtunnel and viewing chamber.

. . . and for a lighter touch how about a young Mick shown at the same time as the Schools photo was taken !

47th Entry Days in Bratdom

Here's a small collection of photos taken back during the 47th's time at Halton . . . remember, this was at a time when photographic supplies were "as scarce as the proverbial hens teeth" . . .  Such a pity !    Also, after some 60-odd years, the quality of some photos leaves a little to be desired, but then beggars can't be choosers . . .
